WRITING THROUGH SUNRISE
DESIRE COFFEE WITH CREAM
BRIGHTEN SLEEPY DAY

RECALLING THE PAST
FARAWAY ECHOES  SEEP IN
LIFTING A SMILE

TUCK & BUSTLE TIME
THIS IS NO NURSERY RHYME
STRANGLED WHALEBONE BUSK

ELECTRIC CLOUD HOVERS
BEYOND BRITTLE FRIZZLED GRASS
LIGHTNING’S PURGATORY

THE PATH LEADS INTO
GREEN, SERENE I LEAN TO SEE
JUST A MEMORY

LIKE ROADKILL, CLOTH LAY
CRUMPLED ELASTICY STRAPS
TWISTED INTESTINE

SKELETAL TREETOPS
IMPALE CUMULUS & BLUE
ABOVE MY SMILE

LEAVES CLAP WILDLY
BENEATH WINDY SYMPHONY
PRIMEVAL APPLAUSE

SQUARES OF SUN SEEP IN
TO CAT’S EYE, HE TWISTS AS IN
YOGA, BASKS IN SHINE

PATHS WIND RIVERSIDE
BRANCHES LIKE BRITTLE FINGERS
STROKE POOLS OF STREETLIGHT

AMETHYST SHIMMER
AS BOUGHS SAG, DISCARDING LEAVES
LIKE BEIGE TORN CARDBOARD

CANTALOUPE FLOWERS
SMILE WIDE, ECLECTIC FLAKES
LIKE SNOW DAYS OF YORE
